2011 Award Winners

Last month hundreds of people came to our campus for Artclectic. While many were current USN parents, students, faculty, and friends, you might be surprised to know that even more of them were people who heard about the event on WPLN, or read an article in the Tennessean, or view the show as a destination each year for purchasing art. Bravo to chair Ursula Norris, party chair Julie Yalowitz, and the hundreds of volunteers who welcomed artists, patrons, community members, and children throughout the VERY busy weekend.

Over and over people exclaimed, “This is the best show ever!” Juror Susan Knowles thoughtfully brought together the perfect mix of media, price points, and quality to celebrate 15 years of bringing art and artists to our school. In the hour before the Patrons Party, she quietly walked through the gallery to select artists worthy of high praise and an invitation to the 2012 event. And the winners are . . . .
